Bitcoin BTC/USD, the world’s most valued cryptocurrency, managed to rise above the $21,000 mark, recording gains on Wednesday.
Ethereum ETH/USD, the second-biggest cryptocurrency, meanwhile, surged back above the $1,500 level on Wednesday.
The Ethereum Classic ETC/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while the Nexo NEXO/USD recorded the biggest decline.
At the time of writing, the global cryptocurrency market capitalization rose to around $982.65 million, notching a 24-hour surge of about 1.8%. BTC was trading higher by around 1.8% to $21,350, while ETH climbed around 6.4% to $1,466.91 on Wednesday.
Investors are now awaiting earnings results from The Boeing Company BA, Meta Platforms, Inc. META and Ford Motor Company F, scheduled for release today.
