Vayner3 Teams Up With Budweiser For FIFA World Cup Digital Collectibles: Here Are The Details

Web3 company Vayner3 is furthering its partnership with Anheuser-Busch InBev SA BUD with the launch of new digital collectibles.

The two companies announced the release of Budverse x FIFA World Cup digital collectibles available from Oct. 13, 2022 until Dec. 18, 2022.

Soccer and sports fans of legal drinking age in their respective countries can purchase and mint Live Scoreboard NFTs for specific World Cup participating countries. The NFTs will transition from a penalty kick mini-game to a live, real-time goal tracker once gameplay for the World Cup begins.

“The NFT will track the progress for the holder’s specific country chosen at the time of mint and follow the team throughout the World Cup,” according to the release.

The NFTs are meant to connect fans to the game with live data and Web3 connectivity.

Holders of the NFTs will get access to exclusive benefits, rewards and surprises during the 2022 World Cup.

The NFTs cost $100 each and come with a merchandise pack for the World Cup and an entry in sweepstakes to win prizes, including a 360 Pass Experience.

Why It’s Important: This marked another NFT drop from Anheuser-Busch in partnership with Vayner3, a Web3 company founded by Gary Vaynerchuk (aka Gary Vee).

Vayner3 has helped onboard several leading companies into the Web3 and NFT space including Anheuser-Busch and PepsiCo, Inc. PEP.

The FIFA World Cup kicks off on Nov. 20, 2022, with the group stage. The FIFA World Cup finals will be held on Dec. 18, 2022.
