Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded losses, falling below the key $1,200 level on Thursday.
Aptos APT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Curve DAO Token CRV/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $822.46 billion, recording a 24-hour decline of 0.7%. BTC was trading lower by 0.2% at $16,488, while ETH fell by around 1.7% to $1,189 on Thursday.
