Crypto prices started the week on a negative note, with Bitcoin BTC/USD trading lower on Monday. However, price for the most valued cryptocurrency in the world remained above the $16,000 level on Monday.
Ethereum ETH/USD also traded lower, falling below the major $1,200 level.
Stacks STX/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Curve DAO Token CRV/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $818.47 billion, recording a 24-hour decline of 2.9%. BTC was trading lower by 2.2% at $16,185.00, while ETH fell by around 3.6% to $1,170.57 on Monday.
