Ethereum ETH/USD, also traded slightly higher, remaining above the $1,200 mark on Wednesday.
Helium HNT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Neutrino USD USDN/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $811.50 billion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.2%. BTC was trading higher by 0.4% at $16,859, while ETH rose by around 0.5% to $1,215 on Wednesday.
