Bitcoin BTC/USD traded higher, with the cryptocurrency prices above the $27,000 level on Friday.
Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, trading close to the key $1,900 mark this morning.
The US economy added 339,000 jobs in May, significantly higher than market estimates of 190,000. The unemployment rate, however, increased to 3.7% in May.
Injective INJ/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while GateToken GT/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.15 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 1.2%. BTC was trading higher by 0.8% at $27,114 while ETH rose by around 1.8% to $1,893 on Friday.
