Ethereum ETH/USD, however, edged lower, trading below the key $1,900 mark this morning.
Compound COMP/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Conflux CFX/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.17 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.1%. BTC was trading higher by 0.4% at $30,432 while ETH fell by around 0.4% to $1,854 on Thursday.
