Microsoft MSFT and Aptos Labs are joining forces to integrate artificial intelligence with blockchain, aiming to simplify the transition for users into the Web3 realm using the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service.

What Happened: This collaboration seeks to address the challenges users face when navigating the Web3 ecosystem, leveraging the combined power of AI's generative capabilities and blockchain's inherent transparency.

Addressing these challenges, Aptos Labs is set to launch the Aptos Assistant, which will serve as a secure and user-friendly bridge from Web2 to Web3, catering to both everyday internet users and organizations.

The Aptos Assistant will empower users to transition to Web3, allowing them to pose questions about the Aptos blockchain ecosystem in natural language.

Moreover, developers will receive guidance from the assistant as they craft smart contracts and decentralized applications, directing them to pertinent resources.

Why It's Important: Mo Shaikh, CEO of Aptos Labs, said AI and blockchain technologies are converging.

"Together with Microsoft, our shared vision is to ensure that this technology is accessible to more people and organizations than ever before."
