Planetarium Labs To Launch 2 New Blockchain Games: 'Verse8' And 'Immortal Rising 2'

Planetarium Labs, a Web3 gaming company, announced two new titles at Korea Blockchain Week's Web3 Game Unplugged event: Verse8 and Immortal Rising 2.

Verse8: Verse8 is an open-source decentralized rogue-like role-playing games (RPG) protocol, offering a universe of modifiable games. It combines multiplayer experiences with dynamic gaming communities and virtual economies. With its multiverse backstory, Verse8 aims to provide a fresh perspective on online RPGs.

The platform equips creators with tools for world generation, distribution, and monetization, facilitating the launch of evolving virtual worlds and engagement with community hubs.

Planetarium co-founder and CEO JC Kim highlighted the increasing interest in decentralized gaming.

"Over 1,000 Web3 enthusiasts registered for our event," Kim said. "We're introducing Verse8 and Immortal Rising 2, both of which aim to offer a unique gaming experience."

Immortal Rising 2: Planetarium also previewed Immortal Rising 2, a Web3 competitive idle RPG game. Following its predecessor's success in Korea, Immortal Rising 2 offers enhanced gameplay and Web3 elements, including self-balancing tokenomics and a dynamic guild warfare system.
