Changpeng Zhao, popularly known as CZ, the CEO of Binance, on Friday shared his review of the biography “Elon Musk” authored by Walter Isaacson.
What Happened: Zhao said that "the new Elon Musk book by Walter Isaacson is pretty good."
CZ also noted that he and Musk coincidentally shared a similar use of the term “hardcore,” although Musk’s version seemed to be even more intense.
In a post on X, CZ mentioned Musk’s ability to handle failures like rockets blowing up, contrasting it with his intolerance for individuals lacking numeracy skills.
CZ noted Musk’s tendency to quickly dismiss underperforming employees without emotional attachment, speculating that Musk’s Asperger’s diagnosis might contribute to this pragmatic approach. “His algorithm is excellent, especially the ‘question every requirement’ part. Everyday, I find someone working on something stupid because they blindly followed ‘some requirement.’ Interesting to learn the little details, and the character behind it," he said.
