Ethereum Surpasses $1,900 Following Jobless Claims Data; Huobi Token Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin BTC/USD moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading past the $36,800 level on Thursday.

Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, trading above the key $1,900 mark this morning.

Huobi Token HT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while WOO Network WOO/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

U.S. initial jobless claims fell by 3,000 to 217,000 in the week ending Nov. 9, compared to market estimates of 218,000.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.37 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.7%. BTC was trading higher by 4.2% at $36,804 while ETH rose by around 1.5% to $1,911 on Thursday.
