The Web3 On The Sea initiative seeks to integrate Web3 and blockchain technology across various state functions to not only benefit digital nomads, remote workers, and Web3 developers, but also bolster government operations, education, and healthcare.
“Our goal is to establish Goa as the world’s largest ecosystem and a hub for Web3 builders, digital nomads and remote workers. We take a giant step into the immersive frontier of our Web3 district, where code meets community, and possibilities are woven into the digital fabric," said Web3 on the Sea co-founder Raj Kapoor.
NEMO Me, a community-building application, has been chosen as the official communications app for this project. Available on iOS and Google Play, NEMO Me will facilitate secure and efficient communication among members of Goa's Web3 community.
The app's technology will also be utilized by local retail stores in Goa to enhance customer engagement.
"In this decentralized ecosystem, innovation thrives, connections flourish, and the future is co-created. We welcome NEMO Me to the heartbeat of tomorrow," Kapoor added.
