Ethereum Tops $2,300 Following Jobs Report; BitTorrent Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin BTC/USD moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the $43,700 level on Friday.

Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,300 mark this morning.

BitTorrent (New) BTT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while ORDI ORDI/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

Non-farm payrolls grew by 199,000 in November, an increase from the 150,000 reported in October and above the expected 180,000.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.62 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 2.6%. BTC was trading higher by 0.8% at $43,716 while ETH rose by around 4.6% to $2,359 on Friday.
