Bitcoin Surpasses $72,000; Lido DAO Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin BTC/USD moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $72,000 level on Monday.

Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, surging past the key $3,600 mark this morning.

Lido DAO LDO/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Ethena ENA/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $2.7 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 4.2%. BTC was trading higher by 4.6% at $72,571 while ETH rose by around 6.9% to $3,625 on Monday.
