Tidus, a decentralized wallet platform focused on simplifying decentralized finance (DeFi), has integrated the Wormhole-powered Mayan Swift SDK to streamline cross-chain transfers.
What Happened: The integration allows users to move stablecoins such as USDC USDC/USD and USDT USDT/USD, along with native tokens ETH and SOL, between the Ethereum ETH/USD and Solana SOL/USD blockchains.
By the end of November 2024, Tidus plans to extend this capability to all EVM-compatible chains, signaling its commitment to making DeFi more accessible to a broader audience.
"With this integration, we're making cross-chain transfers as easy and cheap as possible, allowing users to move assets securely and seamlessly between Ethereum and Solana now—and soon across all EVM chains,” Dan Mulligan, CEO and founder of Tidus Wallet said in a press release shared with Benzinga.
DeFi adoption remains limited among retail users, with fewer than 5% of cryptocurrency holders actively participating, largely due to high transaction fees and technical hurdles.
Tidus Wallet's integration aims to lower these barriers, offering quick, cost-efficient, and user-friendly cross-chain transactions.

The process requires only three clicks, allowing users of all experience levels to bridge assets securely and effortlessly.
The Wormhole integration also enhances transaction security, leveraging its robust infrastructure to protect users' assets during transfers.
Tidus Wallet's approach minimizes room for error by enabling users to bridge assets directly to their other wallets.
The platform's commitment to efficiency ensures reduced gas fees without imposing additional costs on users, a crucial factor in driving broader adoption.
Available for download on iOS, Android, and Chrome, the wallet platform aims to revolutionize decentralized asset management.
What’s Next: Its advancements will be a key discussion point at Benzinga's Future of Digital Assets event on Nov. 19, where leaders in digital finance will explore the future of blockchain technology.
