SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci voiced optimism about the state of the crypto market, sharing a personal anecdote to back up his assessment.
What Happened: In an interview with DL News on Dec. 13, Scaramucci revealed that he's upgrading his 2022 Lamborghini to a 2026 model, reflecting his confidence in the ongoing bull market.
In a light-hearted moment, Scaramucci, who described himself as a "nouveau riche Italian from Long Island," joked, "My life's dream is to have a Lamborghini."
When asked if he sold any of his Bitcoin to finance the new purchase, he firmly responded, "Why would I f—ing sell my Bitcoin?"

Why It Matters: His confidence is backed by a rising cryptocurrency market capitalization, which has surged 20% in the past 30 days to $3.6 trillion, driven by Bitcoin's BTC/USD rise to $100,000, with altcoins and meme coins also seeing growth.
Scaramucci also stressed the growing bipartisan support for crypto legislation, noting that the 2024 election cycle has increased awareness among lawmakers, especially with the financial contributions the crypto industry has made.
In another interview, Scaramucci shared his belief that Bitcoin is primed for mainstream institutional investment. He also noted that more people in the U.S. now own crypto than own dogs, a sign of the growing acceptance of digital assets.
Scaramucci, a veteran in the industry, pointed out a three-year delay in the crypto rally due to the Democrats’ anti-crypto stance, but he believes the incoming administration under Trump will play a key role in shaping future crypto policy.
