Dogecoin, Shiba Inu Struggle As Fartcoin Surges Past $1

Fartcoin FARTCOIN/USD has surged past the key $1 milestone, eclipsing better-known meme coins and catching the eye of top traders across the space.

Trader Notes: Prominent trader Unipcs shared that his Fartcoin long now sits at $5.1 million in profit, up from $3.2 million as of April 9.

Heavily-followed crypto expert Joe McCann called Fartcoin the “best-looking chart in crypto right now,” while pseudonymous trader Cold Blooded Shiller noted it has cleared a four-month downtrend, confirming its first full trend reversal since January 2025.

Altcoin Sherpa set his next upside target at $1.30, although he cautioned traders to expect brief pauses or consolidations along the way.

Despite ranking 62 by market cap, Sherpa believes Fartcoin has significant upside potential due to its rising brand recognition.

Meanwhile, Dead Cat Bounce provided a technical breakdown, noting Fartcoin initially failed to break its range high at the yearly open and started forming lower highs.

But it defied broader market weakness, ultimately breaking above the range and validating a bullish breakout.

He managed to secure a spot position on the retest, calling the chart "strong" as long as it holds above prior resistance.

Statistics: According to Grey BTC, whale accumulation continues, with one wallet scooping up $3.07 million worth of Fartcoin.

Fartcoin's 16% single-day rally brought it above $1 for the third time ever, something Dogecoin and Shiba Inu still haven’t achieved.

Standing strong in 24-hour trading volume at the fourth position, Fartcoin has left behind Shiba Inu, Dogwifhat, Bonk and many others.

Over the past 30 days, Fartcoin is up 112.8%, while Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have posted negative returns.
