  • KBR Inc KBR has received a contract worth $24 million from 94th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (94th AAMDC) in Japan.
  • The contract win supports KBR's goal of expanding its base operations support services in the Indo-Pacific region.
  • Per the terms, KBR will offer mission-critical base operations and infrastructure services at Kyogamisaki and Shariki Communication Sites (KCS and SCS) in the coming five years. 
  • Byron Bright, KBR Government Solutions U.S. President, said, "This expansion of services in Japan adds to our current operations in Korea and Diego Garcia. Our team supports exercises throughout the region, including in Thailand and the Philippines, allowing the U.S. to maintain strategic positioning and strengthen its relations in the Indo-Pacific. We're honored to enhance the lives of our service members by expanding our support to U.S. operations in Japan."
  • Earlier this month, KBR reported Q1 2023 revenue of $1.7 billion — a slight decline of 0.64% year-over-year, +18% ex-OAW, beating the consensus of $1.61 billion. The company was awarded $3.1 billion of bookings and options in the quarter.
