United Airlines Pilots Union Votes To Approve Strike: Report

The United Airlines Pilots Union head reportedly announced in a letter that the union had unanimously approved a vote to authorize a strike.
"You'll receive more communication regarding this impending strike vote in the coming days," the letter stated. The Air Line Pilots Association has not yet set a date for the strike vote, reported Reuters, citing a spokesperson.

"We have offered our pilots an industry leading deal and we're actively working with ALPA to reach an agreement," the report quoted a United Airlines spokesperson.
Price Action: UAL shares are trading lower by 0.06% at $48.47 and DAL higher by 0.03% at $37.02 premarket on Monday.
