Capital Bancorp Appoints New CFO

Capital Bancorp Inc CBNK announced the appointment of Jennings "Jay" Walker as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company and Capital Bank.

Jay will join the company on June 26, 2023, and report to the CEO.

Jay has previously worked for over 12 years at Seacoast Banking Corp of Florida SBCF and held various positions.

Jay's proven leadership will further strengthen our financial operations and support our strategic objectives," said Ed Barry, CEO.

In February, CBNK disclosed the departure of the CFO, Alan W. Jackson, and named Connie Egan, the Chief Accounting Officer of the Bank, to replace Jackson as the company's Principal Financial and Accounting Officer.

In April, CBNK reported a Q1 2023 EPS of $0.68, beating the consensus of $0.60.

Price Action: CBNK shares closed higher by 0.91% at $18.80 on Wednesday.
