Accenture Plans Investment In Praxis Labs To Support Diversity and Inclusion

Accenture Plc ACN has invested in New York-based Praxis Labs for its broader Project Spotlight initiative. The financial terms were not disclosed.

This investment reflects Accenture's ongoing commitment to providing black entrepreneurs with funding, connections with clients, and community engagement to boost innovation inclusively.

Praxis is a software-as-a-service virtual reality (VR) company with an end-to-end immersive learning platform.

As part of Project Spotlight, Praxis Labs will have access to Accenture's domain expertise and its enterprise clients and the opportunity to co-innovate with Accenture at its Innovation Hubs.

A few days back, Accenture announced an investment of $3 billion in its Data & AI practice over three years.

"Praxis Labs already provides its immersive diversity and inclusion training offerings to many Fortune 500 companies, and we look forward to introducing them to our clients and partners around the world and supporting their mission of delivering meaningful impact and change," said Kathryn Ross, global Liquid Studios lead and the Black Founders Development Program lead for Accenture Ventures.

Price Action: ACN shares are trading higher by 2.06% to $321.55 on the last check Thursday.
