United Airlines To Acquire Land Worth $33M In Denver To Expand Pilot Training Facility: Report

United Airlines Holdings, Inc. UAL reportedly plans to buy 113 acres of land in Denver for $33 million to boost growth.

The company is buying two parcels, one located just outside Denver International Airport with access to its Flight Training Center, Reuters reported citing a statement from the company's spokesperson. 

The land parcel will expand the company's Denver pilot training facility.

The airline said that it has been in Chicago for decades with thousands of employees, Reuters noted. So it is buying lands in certain key cities to implement its "big plans" to grow.

Price Action: UAL shares are trading higher by 1.15% in the premarket to $52.97 on the last checked Monday.
