Daimler Truck Begins Search For New Finance Chief: Report

Commercial vehicle manufacturer Daimler Truck Holding AG's DTRUY DTGHF Chairman Martin Daum is likely to assume the role of an interim Chief Financial Officer.

The supervisory board had initiated the search for a new CFO, reported Reuters.

The development comes in the wake of the sudden death of its finance chief Jochen Goetz on Saturday, August 5th, 2023.

Goetz was decisively responsible for the spin-off of Daimler Truck from Mercedes-Benz Group MBGYY in December 2021.

A few months after the spin-off on December 10th, 2021, Daimler Truck Holding AG became part of the DAX in March 2022, the stock index of the 40 largest and highest-turnover German companies in the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Jochen Goetz spent his entire professional career at the Daimler Group for over 36 years.

In May, the company reported a Q1 2023 revenue increase of 25% Y/Y to €13.2 billion.

Price Action: DTRUY shares are trading lower by 0.96% at $18.53 on the last check Monday.
