XPeng Inc. XPEV has reportedly started dispatching hundreds of electric vehicles (EVs) to Israel after the Chinese firm revealed strategies to enter the Middle Eastern country in July.
Xpeng initiated the shipment of 750 G9 SUVs and P7 sedans to Israel from its Guangzhou headquarters, with a special ceremony marking the event, according to a report by CnEVPost.
Xpeng is anticipating the official entry of G9 and P7 models into the Israeli market in October through Freesbe, a prominent regional dealership, the report added, citing statement from Eric Xu, Vice President and Head of Xpeng's international business.

Xpeng did not disclose details about their previous vehicle shipment to Israel.
However, a company spokesperson told CnEVPost that their initial vehicle shipment to Israel left Shanghai earlier this month.
The vehicles sent to Israel are tailored to meet local consumer requirements and are based on the European versions of the models, CnEVPost noted.
