AerCap Holdings NV AER disclosed major transactions and financial developments of Q3 FY23.
Leasing: The aviation leasing company inked 134 lease agreements, which comprise 24 widebody aircraft, 62 narrowbody aircraft, 25 engines, and 23 helicopters.
Acquisitions: AER completed the purchase of 33 airlines, including 19 new aircraft, nine engines, and five helicopters.
The new aircraft bought for its owned aircraft portfolio comprises 14 A320neo Family, 2 A330neos, and 3 737 MAX aircraft.

Asset sale: AER completed 52 sale deals for divesting 12 aircraft, 37 engines, and three helicopters.
Repurchase & Financing: The company bought back about 20 million shares worth about $1.2 billion. The company penned financing transactions worth $3.9 billion.
In July, the company reported second-quarter FY23 total lease revenue growth of 10% year-on-year to $1.72 billion, missing the analyst consensus of $1.82 billion. Adjusted EPS of $2.56 beat the analyst consensus of $2.06.
AerCap held $1.31 billion in cash and equivalents as of June 30, 2023.

Price Action: AER shares closed higher by 2.62% at $60.77 on Friday.
