Accenture Plc ACN said on Wednesday that its federal services unit is partnering with Microsoft Corporation MSFT to launch a ‘Cloud Modernization and Migration Factory’ on Microsoft Azure Government.
The pact will meet the security criteria required for those operating across the national security space, including the Special Access Program community, according to a press release.
“For federal agencies, and our Defense Industrial Base and aerospace clients, connecting to the cloud and hardening applications are the most challenging part of any cloud journey,” said Accenture Federal Services CEO John Goodman.
The Cloud Modernization and Migration Factory on Azure will streamline the onboarding of remote federal sites to “air gapped” Azure Government Secret and Top Secret classified clouds to enable the highest level of security.

National security leaders gain swift access to cutting-edge capabilities, such as AI, through Microsoft Azure Government Secret and Top Secret clouds. This facilitates data analysis, agility, and unified cybersecurity to safeguard critical national data.
The Cloud Modernization and Migration Factory on Azure offers accredited security baselines for all classification levels, from Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
With cleared cloud engineers, architects, and data scientists experienced in DevSecOps, the factory ensures secure migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud, compliant with federal guidelines.
