Accenture Federal Services will assist in delivering advanced attack sensing and warning capabilities vital for current security needs in U.S. Navy fleets, the company said in a press release.

The SHARKCAGE contract includes a base ordering period of five years and one option for an additional five years.

“The role of cybersecurity in modern maritime military readiness has evolved and expanded. Network interconnectedness is essential to protecting critical U.S. defense assets and sensitive military data,” said Rick Driggers, Accenture Federal Services managing director and cyber practice lead.

Last month, the company inked a pact with banking behemoth The Bank Of New York Mellon Corporation BK to modernize financial services offerings with an initial focus on data management and analytics product development and delivery.

The companies will leverage cutting-edge technologies to unlock the potential of data at unprecedented speeds, aiding their shared clients in driving rapid growth.

By blending Accenture’s proficiency in data, AI, and platform engineering with BNY Mellon’s extensive financial data and analytics services, the collaboration will expedite the rollout of innovative offerings in private markets and wealth management tech.
