Safe Pro Group Inc. SPAI shares are trading higher after it disclosed a couple of deals. The company showcased its SpotlightAI demining solution in a video presented by Amazon Web Services (AWS) at the AWS Summit in Washington, D.C.
The video features Safe Pro’s senior team discussing how AWS’s scalability and compute power are modernizing demining efforts in Ukraine, leveraging AI to analyze drone imagery for improved mine detection.
SpotlightAI’s ability to quickly process drone imagery to detect and geo-locate landmines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) in Ukraine was highlighted in an AWS Partner Success case study.
SpotlightAI processes extensive drone imagery to generate high-resolution, GPS-tagged orthomosaic maps that highlight objects of interest, offering a detailed “bird’s-eye view” to support effective planning and clearing efforts for local authorities and humanitarian organizations.
Dan Erdberg, Chairman and CEO of Safe Pro said, “Working with AWS, we have greatly enhanced our ability to provide leading humanitarian mine action organizations with powerful new tools that can improve their situational awareness as they execute their land clearance operations across Ukraine, expediting the release of land for agricultural and civilian use.”
Apart from this, Safe Pro Group launched SpotlightAI 3.0, the latest version of its patent-pending AI platform, through its Safe Pro AI unit.
Powered by AWS, SpotlightAI is now deployed in Ukraine, assisting multiple international humanitarian mine action (HMA) organizations and government agencies with advanced demining capabilities.
Dan Erdberg, Chairman and CEO of Safe Pro, stated, “Our mission in Ukraine to support saving lives and the safe return of land denied to civilian use due to the risk of landmines and unexploded ordnance continues to evolve and we have responded with SpotlightAI 3.0, a major advancement for the global demining community.”
“Our current version of SpotlightAI is the result of nearly two years of close collaboration with drone pilots, image analysts, and key management decision makers on the development of workflows designed to make land release operations safer and more efficient.”
Price Action: SFAI shares are up 17.6% at $2.20 at the last check Monday.
