Lean Hogs Sharply Lower

Lean hogs are trading sharply lower on Friday. July Hogs are trading at 75.60, down 2.42 . August Lean Hogs are trading at 73.77, down 2.22. October hogs are trading at 64.17, down 2.05. Trading is very choppy and some general selling has been occurring. Market chatter about the USDA cold storage report due on Monday June 22 is making the rounds. The USDA will release its quarterly Hog and Pig report on Friday June 26.
