USDA Export Sales, Beef and Pork

The USDA reported today that beef weekly export sales for the current year period ending December 22nd totaled 10,000 tonnes. Sales were up 18 percent from the previous week and down 52 percent from the four week average. There were 11,000 tonnes sold for 2017. Pork export sales for this year totaled 3,900 tonnes. Sales were at a marketing year low and down 33 percent from the previous week and down 51 percent from the four week average. There were 35,600 tonnes sold for 2017.
