Live Cattle Futures Little Lower

April live cattle is trading at 117.32, down 0.25 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 107.65, down 0.15 cents/lb Live cattle futures are trading choppy and lower on the session. Chatter about consumer demand ahead and cash prices has kept buyers and sellers active. Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus 104,000 head a year ago. The total cattle slaughter for the week is now 346,000 head versus 319,000 head a year ago.
