Amazon.com Inc.’s Ring AMZN has expanded its home security portfolio with the launch of smart smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
What Happened: Amazon's Ring is partnering with fire safety product maker Kidde to launch two new products: the Kidde Smart Smoke Alarm with Ring and the Kidde Smart Smoke and CO Alarm with Ring.
These devices seamlessly integrate with Ring's home security ecosystem, allowing users to receive real-time alerts through the Ring mobile app, the company announced at CES 2025 on Monday.

The Kidde Smart Smoke Alarm with Ring is priced at $54.97, while the Smart Smoke and CO Alarm with Ring costs $74.97. Both are set to ship in April 2025.
Ring is also introducing a subscription service for $5 per month which offers access to professional monitoring and emergency dispatchers.
