Fast Money Pops & Drops, January 24th (DAL, ALK, HTZ, MCP, FSLR, TSL, TSLA)

On CNBC's Fast Money, Joe Terranova explained that Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL was mentioned by Morgan Stanley, as one of the top trading ideas in 2011. He thinks that the airline sector is recovering, and he recommended Alaska Air Group, Inc. ALK as a buy. Delta Air Lines (DAL) jumped 4.16% today, and Alaska Air Group (ALK) added 1.42%. Guy Adami believes that Hertz Global Holdings, Inc. HTZ could jump above $15. He explained that HTZ gained 3.15% in the regular session, and 1.45% in the after hours, after it updated its guidance to the high end. Brian Kelly likes Molycorp, Inc. MCP, and he thinks that it will reach new highs. He said that Molycorp, Inc. (MCP) jumped 8.91%, after it announced its plans to double production capacity at its Mountain Pass mine in California. Tim Seymour said that First Solar, Inc. FSLR gained 6.10% on the news that Goldman Sachs added FSLR to "Conviction buy" list. He thinks that it would be better to buy Trina Solar Limited (ADR) TSL, because it is cheaper than First Solar (FSLR). Stephen Weiss said that Tesla Motors Inc TSLA jumped 6.29%, after a JPMorgan analyst wrote that TSLA is oversold. Mr. Weiss thinks that Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA) is still expensive.
