Fast Money Picks For January 20th (BHP, RIO, MCD, TBT)

On CNBC's Fast Money, Tim Seymour recommended a short position in the mining industry. His shorting candidates are BHP Billiton Limited (ADR) BHP and Rio Tinto plc (ADR) RIO. BHP Billiton (BHP) fell 1.03% in the regular trading session, and it lost additional 0.47% in the after hours today. Rio Tinto plc (ADR) (RIO) fell 2.09% in the regular session, but it added 0.53% in the after hours. Guy Adami recommended a long position in McDonald's Corporation MCD, once again. He recommended this stock in yesterday's show. McDonald's Corporation (MCD) gained 0.90% today, and closed at $75.35. Karen Finerman said that she will hang on her market put options for at least one day. Joe Terranova bought some put options in ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury (ETF) TBT today. He believes that he is going to need them tomorrow. ProShares UltraShort 20+ Year Treasury (ETF) (TBT) fell 1.38% on Wednesday.
