Fast Money Pops & Drops, February 24th (OCR, PCLN, MU, SLXP, NEM)

On CNBC's Fast Money, Karen Finerman said that Omnicare's OCR conference call was pretty good, and she also said that she likes the new CEO. Omnicare, Inc. (OCR) gained 6.41% in the regular trading session, but it surrendered its gains in the after hours. Salix Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. SLXP dropped 23.69% today, after it reported that its drug, Xifaxan, won't be approved, and it won't get to the market. Joe Terranova was pretty disappointed with the news, because he was long this stock. Tim Seymour said that Newmont Mining Corporation NEM fell 7.36% on Thursday, on the news that its gold and copper production will fall this year. Micron Technology, Inc. MU gained 3.41% on Thursday, and it closed at $10.91. Brian Kelly explained that Micron Technology, Inc. (MU) got some positive comments from Morgan Stanley MS. He thinks that it looks like it is still going higher. Guy Adami thinks that priceline.com Incorporated PCLN is the stock that you just can't short. priceline.com Incorporated (PCLN) gained 8.53% today, and it closed at $462.34.
