Fast Money Pops & Drops, February 28th (POT, FSLR, ANN, M, HBC, CRM)

CNBC Fast Money's Tim Seymour is bullish on Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) POT. He explained that potash prices are going higher, because there are some negotiations with the Brazilians at $540 per tonne and the Chinese are next. Potash Corp./Saskatchewan (USA) (POT) gained 2.67% today, and it closed at $61.60. First Solar, Inc. FSLR fell 5.35% today, and Brian Kelly believes that investors should stay away from solar stocks. UBS downgraded First Solar, Inc. (FSLR) from "Buy" to "Neutral", and Morgan Stanley analyst said that there might be more cut backs than people are expecting. AnnTaylor Stores Corp. ANN fell 2.68% in the regular trading session, as Piper Jaffray lowered its price target. In the after hours, AnnTaylor Stores Corp. (ANN) gained 2.76%. Karen Finerman commented that she likes Macy's, Inc. M better. Guy Adami said that HSBC Holdings plc (ADR) HBC fell 3.81% today, because it reported earnings and revenues for 2010 slightly lower than expected. HSBC Holdings plc (ADR) (HBC) closed the session at $55.09, and Guy Adami would buy it at $53.50. Joe Terranova thinks that salesforce.com, inc. CRM is breaking down technically. It is recording highs that are lower each month, explained Joe Terranova, and added that he would move to the sidelines.
