There is strong demand for the iPad 2 this morning, as many are lined up outside Apple Inc. AAPL stores around the country in order to get their hands on the new device.
There were reports that plenty of people were lined up outside Apple's flagship New York story on 5th avenue. The device is set to go on sale in stores at 5 p.m., and if this store is any indication for others around the country, then demand is likely to be tremendous, and could boost Apple shares.
At last check, shares of Apple were up $2.02 to $348.69, a gain of 0.6% this morning.
