American International Group Up 2% (AIG)

American International Group, Inc. AIG shares are up 2% as the equity markets have moved higher from this morning, and news came out last night that AIG is trying to purchase back the Maiden Lane 2 portfolio from the Federal Reserve for $15.7 billion.

At last check, shares were up 88 cents to $37.36 on 5.8 million shares.
