Bank of Ireland Up 25% (IRE)

Bank of Ireland (ADR) IRE shares have re-opened for trading, and are up a whopping 25% to $2.20, a gain of 45 cents. Yesterday, the Irish Central Bank announced that 4 banks, including the Bank of Ireland needed to raise 24 billion Euros in fresh capital as a result of the "stress tests" the central bank did. Bank of Ireland needs to raise 5.2 billion Euros in accordance with the results of the stress tests.
