Questcor Pharmaceuticals Jumping 12% On Heavy Volume (QCOR)

Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. QCOR shares are jumping today, gaining more than 12% on 1.2 million shares. This comes a day after the company announced it would be dropping an options plan that came under scrutiny. The company changed its proposed stock incentive plan after a provision drew criticism from a proxy-advising firm. The provision would have allowed Questcor to re-price stock options doled out to executives without seeking approval from shareholders. The decision will be put to a vote on May 19. At last check, shares were up $2.31 to $22.81, a gain of 11.3%.
