Bank of America At Session Lows Despite Oracle Of Omaha Stepping Up

After rising more than 25% this morning on news that Warren Buffett had put $5 billion into the company, shares of Bank of America Corporation BAC are at session lows. At last check, shares were up just 52 cents to $7.51, a gain of 7.44%‎. Shares had reached as high as $8.80 in the first few minutes of trading. Since then, it has trickled down as investors and traders digested the news. Volume is exceptionally heavy today, having traded almost 560 million shares. The average daily volume for the Charlotte-based bank is 292 million shares. Buffett invested $5 billion into the company, and received 50,000 preferred shares, and 700 million warrants with an exercise price that is currently in the money.
