Rogers Communications Prices $900 Million Offering at $999.45 per Note

Rogers Communications Inc. RCI announced today that it has priced an offering of $900 million aggregate principal amount of 4.70% Senior Notes due 2020. The Senior Notes were priced at $999.45 per $1,000 principal amount, for an effective yield of 4.707% per annum if held to maturity. The Senior Notes will mature on September 29, 2020. The net proceeds from the offering will be approximately $895 million, which are intended to be used to repay outstanding advances under our bank credit facility and for general corporate purposes.
