Age Discrimination Suit Filed Against Quest Diagnostics Inc

Abbey Spanier Rodd & Abrams, LLP, and Green Savits & Lenzo, LLC, filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of a class of individuals who were part of the Quest Diagnostics, Inc. DGX sales force and who were fired or resigned from the company while on performance improvement plans or after being advised that they would be put on a PIP. The class period begins on November 18, 2008. The complaint, filed in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County, alleges that the company determined to restructure its sales force by "managing out" older employees. The claims for age discrimination are brought pursuant to the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.
