Comcast Close To Completing NBC Unviersal Merger (CMCSA, GE)

According to CNBC, the FCC is proposing regulatory conditions on the NBC Universal-Comcast CMCSA deal. NBC Universal is owned by General Electric GE. Despite these conditions on the deal, the FCC is still expected to allow the deal to go through. The FCC's may require Comcast to share programming with online video sites, and be subjected to limits on withholding cable channels from pay-TV competitors. The deal also needs the Justice Department to approve it.
