Webster Promotes Jerry Plush to Vice Chairman and COO

Webster Financial Corporation WBS, the parent of Webster Bank, announced today that Gerald P. Plush, senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, has been promoted to vice chairman and chief operating officer of the holding company and the bank, effective immediately. Plush will continue to report to James C. Smith, chairman, president and chief executive officer.
