NorthWestern Energy NWE has signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase a 24-megawatt wind project in north central Montana to be developed and constructed by Invenergy Wind Development Montana, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Invenergy Wind LLC ("Invenergy").
