Steve Jobs Makes What? (AAPL)

Steve Jobs is making less than you are. At least in salary he is. Jobs salary for 2010 was disclosed by Apple AAPL in a filing released today. Jobs has made $1 per year since coming back to the company he helped found with Steve Wozniak. Don't worry though. He's not exactly short on cash. Jobs owns 5.5 million shares of the Cupertino, Calif.-based company. Jobs has not sold any shares since he returned back to the company. In the filing, Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook received a raise to $900,000 from a prior salary of $800,000, “to reflect his additional responsibilities ... relative to other executive team members.” In the past when Jobs left to take care of his pancreatic cancer, Cook served as CEO. Apple also said that shareholders have a proposal for the company to adopt a “CEO Succession Planning Policy.” At last check, shares of Apple were up 10 cents to $333.83.
