Sigma-Aldrich Acquires Resource Technology Corporation

Sigma-Aldrich® Corporation SIAL announced today that it has acquired the assets of Resource Technology Corporation (RTC) of Laramie, Wyoming, an industry leader in analytical standards and certified reference materials. The acquisition of RTC's business complements the recently completed acquisition of Cerilliant Corporation, and further expands and strengthens Sigma-Aldrich's analytical chemistry offerings, a key goal in assisting the Company in delivering on its strategic sales growth plans. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
