Aflca Misses Estimates (AFL)

AFLAC Inc. AFL reported fourth quarter earnings which missed Wall Street estimates. The Ohio-based insurance company reported earnings of $1.33 per share on revenues of $5.29 billion. Wall Street had been looking for earnings of $1.35 per share on revenues of $5.59 billion. Shares are falling in the after-hours session on the earnings miss. At last check, shares were down 83 cents to $57.70, a loss of 1.4%.
