Carpenter Powder Products Raises Tool Steel Products Prices by 5-7%

Carpenter Powder Products today announced that it will increase base prices by 5 – 7 percent on all Micro Melt and wrought tool steel products. The increase will be effective for orders shipped on or after March 1, 2011. Additionally, current monthly surcharges will remain in effect. Carpenter Powder Products, a division of Carpenter Technology Corporation CRS, produces and distributes powder metal and wrought high speed and tool steel products.
